The Ivy Forest Greetings from Mableton, GA ※ United States
Another pair of fingerless mitts done! I’m glad the sun decided to peak out from behind the clouds this morning so I could get some shots outside with the ivy…

Working on another test knit- some fingerless gloves with a really awesome stitch pattern. I thought they would be way too big for me, but they are only going to be slightly too big! Hooray! They are so cute and cozy though, I can’t wait to finish them, then start another pair!

Never mind the fact that I have a few other projects being worked on… I have wanted to make a cabled headband for quite a while, so last night I decided to cast one on. It’s coming along quite nicely (and quickly), hopefully I’ll be finished by this evening.

One of my first ‘big’ projects I did, and first real shawl. Well, I guess it’s actually a ‘shawlette’, given it’s small size.

For this I used Patons Lace in Patina- I didn’t have to do anything special to get the striping to come out so nice. Just casted on and started knitting :) I love it when a yarn and pattern work together so nicely!

My project is Raveled here. Pattern is Sumer Flies from Holly & Ella Knits.
