Aw, Window Cat, you are so cute! ♥ I can’t wait to make a bunch of little Window Kittens to hide around the store!
Almost forgot to add my boss’ Giant Window Cat! He’s so much fun to hug :)

I feel like I haven’t really been posting as much as I would like… Been pretty under the weather the past few weeks, and the past few days have been particularly rough. Well, since I’ve been sick, my motivation to knit, or work on anything really, has just not shown itself! So, in the meantime, I’ll post some other projects and other crafts!
I recently finished this dress, made with an adorable vintage pattern ♥ I’m a sucker for the cute illustrations on older patterns, even though I should know better then to think that my finished object will look anything like the drawing. The hope is always still there, though! In this case, I think my dress came out a bit frumpy. Cute, but still frumpy. I thought, maybe, since the pattern size was smaller then my own measurements, then it would work out nicely, but it still came out strangely big. It fits well enough, but it will take some creative thinking to style it nicely if I plan to wear it out!
Thankfully I used really inexpensive fabric for this, so I consider it my mock-up. I really love the pattern and it’s construction, so I’ll make some modifications for my next one- thinner fabric, draft smaller sleeves, widen the bust so it gathers a bit more, and do two or three channels of elastic below the bust. Oh, and maybe pockets! I love pockets :)
I love peter pan style collars! They’re super cute, and can go either mod-style, or more of a cute and demure look. A few weeks ago I really wanted to make some knitted ones, but before I could get started hashing out a pattern, one showed up on Ravelry! Hooray! Now I will probably make a million of these, since they take almost no time at all, and very little yarn.
My project is Raveled here, pattern is Peter Pan Collar from Reckless Glue.
(artist pimpin’ time: I got this t-shirt while Jason Webley was on tour and came through Atlanta. Go check out his MySpace page for his music, you will have no regrets!)
Fresh off my needles, a pair of leg warmers… Not exactly perfect for this 80°F weather we’re having, but they’re awfully cute. I’ll be ready for fall!

A cute little set of mitts and a matching bow I made sometime last year. I found this yarn on Etsy, and while the colors aren’t something I normally go for, I just had to have it. So fun and cheerful and sweet, it kind of reminds me of Fruity Pebbles (a sugar cereal). I paired it with some black yarn to toughen it up a bit, and I love the result.
A cute little robot I knitted for my husband, for Valentine’s Day last year. The pattern is Valentin le Robot. I used some Homespun that I had left over from another project, and a scrap of red leather for his heart.
